Featuring a high-resolution 4.9-inch display with almost double the pixel count of its predecessor, it offers wider viewing angles and lightning-fast map rendering, zooming, and panning via powerful dual-core processors.
Intuitive Touchscreen Interface
The do-it-all touchscreen provides quick access to navigation and multifunction display features. Pilots can use smartphone-like pinch-to-zoom and swipe gestures to scale maps, or utilize the on-screen QWERTY keyboard and traditional concentric knobs for easy data entry. Telligence voice control is also available to further reduce workload.
Smart Glide Technology
In the event of engine power loss, Smart Glide technology helps reduce pilot workload by recommending a suitable airport based on glide range, terrain, and obstacles. It can automatically create a Direct-to route, engage compatible Garmin autopilots at best glide speed, and provide shortcuts to emergency transponder codes.
Advanced Navigation and IFR Capabilities
This WAAS/SBAS-certified receiver enables LPV glidepath approaches down to 200-foot minimums and supports visual approach guidance. It offers graphical flight planning with "rubber band" reroutes, holding pattern execution, and advanced VNAV profiles when paired with GFC 500 or GFC 600 autopilots.
Comprehensive Situational Awareness
The GTN 625Xi integrates with ADS-B "In" solutions to display up to 60 traffic targets with TargetTrend relative motion tracking. It also supports SiriusXM satellite weather, SafeTaxi airport diagrams, and virtual map topography with terrain alerting to ensure pilots have a clear picture of their environment.
Connected Cockpit Integration
Using Connext technology, pilots can wirelessly stream flight plans, weather, and traffic between the GTN Xi and mobile devices running Garmin Pilot or FltPlan Go. The Flight Stream 510 gateway adds Database Concierge, allowing for wireless database uploads from a tablet in minutes.
