Modern Glass Upgrade
The GI 275 electronic display allows you to replace aging vacuum pump-driven analog gauges while keeping the classic look of your panel. This reliable solid-state ADAHRS-driven instrument features a bright, sunlight-readable touchscreen that maximizes space within a standard instrument cutout.
Primary Flight Instrumentation
As a primary flight reference, the GI 275 supports essential readouts including attitude, altitude, airspeed, and heading. It offers optional SVT synthetic vision for enhanced situational awareness and can integrate with autopilots like the GFC 500 to display flight director command bar cues.
Navigation and HSI Capabilities
The unit functions as a complete CDI or HSI solution, accepting inputs for VOR/LOC and GPS course guidance. When configured as an HSI, it can overlay course guidance on a moving map display featuring flight plan legs, terrain, and weather data.
Multifunction Display and Safety
In MFD mode, the GI 275 supports moving maps, traffic, weather, and terrain. It is compatible with Smart Glide technology to assist during engine failures and can provide reversionary backup capability in dual-display installations to retain attitude and heading data.
Engine Information System (EIS)
With optional sensors, the GI 275 serves as a primary EIS display for piston engines. It features lean assist modes, EGT/CHT monitoring, and an integrated fuel computer, with automatic data logging for post-flight analysis via flyGarmin.com.
Wireless Connectivity and Control
Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enable wireless data streaming to mobile apps and automatic database updates. The instrument also provides direct touchscreen control for select transponders, including squawk code and ident settings.
