Advanced Touchscreen Interface
The G600 TXi features bright, high-resolution large-format LCD displays with powerful dual-core processors that boost graphical capabilities for swift zooming, panning, and map rendering. Pilots can access functions via intuitive touchscreen inputs or familiar concentric knobs, providing a whole new perspective on situational awareness.
Versatile Display Configurations
Available in 10.6” and 7” formats, the system offers flexible installation options. The 10.6” display can function as a PFD, MFD, or split PFD/MFD with an EIS strip, while the 7” portrait or landscape units can serve as dedicated PFD, MFD, or EIS displays. Up to four displays can be paired to scale with your panel needs.
Enhanced Situational Awareness
Standard SVT synthetic vision technology provides 3D depictions of terrain, obstacles, and airports. The system integrates HSI mapping, allowing pilots to overlay weather, traffic, and SafeTaxi diagrams directly within the primary flight data view, while built-in terrain alerting and dynamic topography provide detailed surface features.
Engine Indication System (EIS)
The optional EIS supports piston singles, twins, and select turboprops, providing real-time indications for fuel, electrical, and engine gauges. Features include lean assist mode, fuel monitoring, and engine data logging, which can be wirelessly shared to the Garmin Pilot app for maintenance analysis.
Autopilot and Safety Integration
G600 TXi interfaces with the GFC 600 and other popular autopilots, supporting safety-enhancing features like Smart Glide engine-out navigation, Smart Rudder Bias for twins, and Garmin ESP corrective technology. It also enables automatic GPS-to-LOC switching for complete ILS approaches.
Wireless Connectivity and Weather
Using Connext technology via Flight Stream 510, pilots can wirelessly transfer flight plans and databases from mobile devices. The system also integrates with ADS-B, SiriusXM, and onboard weather radar like the GWX 75 to provide comprehensive weather and traffic surveillance.
